Snow Boarding
I went skiing last weekend in Taos Ski Valley. It was the first time I had been up there since snow boarding was allowed. The Ski Valley for years said that snow boarding would be allowed "when hell freezes over." There are now t-shirts out there with the inscription: "March 19: the day hell froze over."
The atmosphere in the ski area was electric. Everyone was excited and having fun. The restaurants were doing double the business that they normally do. Staff and skiers/boarders alike were smiling and enjoying the phenomenal snow. I for one am happy that hell froze!
